Tannahill is named after the farm in Scotland my great, great, great, grandmother departed from with her family to begin a new life here in Aotearoa.

Agnes Dickie was 21 when her family set sail for New Zealand in December of 1862. She stepped off the “Arima” at Port Chalmers Dunedin on the 19th of March 1863.

The colours of Tannahill speak of her life both in Scotland and here in Aotearoa.
